Finally Friday

I am really sorry that I haven't been updating much this week, but I've just had a lot of homework and school stuff going on. I am just so tired of all the exams, essay and other boring school stuff, but at least it spring is in the air and has been really sunny and warm outside, otherwise I wouldn't have survived this long week. But it's finally Friday and I have a fun and well deserved weekend in front of me. I am going to met up with Vivi soon and we are going to the movies to see American Hustle, which is really nice. I have wanted to see the movie for some time, mostly because Jennifer Lawrence is starring in it. So have to get ready now and I will probably update more this weekend, because Ruta and I are having a sleepover at my place tomorrow, which is going to be a lot of fun. Hope everyone is having a great Friday and that you will have a nice weekend!

my weekend

Coffeeeeeeeee <3
This has been a nice and fun weekend. After eating pancakes for breakfast I spent most of my Saturday morning just drinking coffee and reading. In the afternoon I met up with my friend Bea and we had decided to go to this Divergent event. They had arranged the event because the movie had it's world premiere just a couple of days ago and they wanted to get the Swedish fans exited for the Swedish premiere, which is next month.
The event turned out to be really great and we had a lot of fun. There were different competitions related to the books and the movie and it was also fun to meet more fans of the books. We also got to eat a delicious Dauntless-cake, a chocolate cake with the Dauntless symbol on it, which was really awesome. We also won some stuff, like tickets for the movie, which was great. After the event we went to Bea's place and we decided to eat sushi for dinner and then rent a movie. We ended up watching the movie The spectacular now. Shailene Woodley, who is the actress who plays the lead part in Divergent,  was in this movie and that was why we wanted to see it.
It was a really cute movie, but more sad then we thought it would be, but still a good movie.

We went to bed quite early because we knew we had to get up early the next morning to go to church. So this morning we ate breakfast and the went to church, and we actually had to hurry even though it's really near Bea's place because we woke a little bit to late. After church I had to go to this meeting, but I after that I could go eat at this Indian restaurant with my family which was really nice and the food was delicious.
I spent the rest of this day just chilling and resting and then ate scones and tea for dinner. I really hope I have the energy to really do my best in school next week, because I have so much to do.
I have to get a good night sleep now, so goodnight everyone. I hope you all had a nice weekend!

Vitamin C boost

My yellow lunch: Mango, Orange and Banana and a glass of Orange juice <3

I stayed at home today, because I'm still not feeling well. My head hurts and I have no energy, so I spent most of my day sleeping or watching Sherlock. So that's why it's good that I made a healthy lunch with loads of vitamin C, which is really good for you especially if you're ill. I hope I'm feeling better tomorrow because I really need to go back to school tomorrow to catch up what I missed.
I try to stay positive, because it feels like weekend is just around the corner.

Sunday

Today has actually been a really great Sunday. I went to church in the morning and when I came home I decided to take an outside jog, the first first outside jog this year actually. It was sunny, but quite windy and only 2 degrees, but it was still nice to just run outside.
When I came back I ate a delicious lunch with my family, which was chicken with peanut sous and salad. Then Eline rang and asked if I wanted grab a quick coffee, so I met up with her and we went to this cosy cafĂ©. It was nice to just have a spontaneous coffee with her and just talk and laugh.
On my way home I bought a yummy mango and orange smoothie and when I got home I decided to start reading the book The Maze Runner. Eline has tried to convince me to read that book for weeks now and so far it's really good.
I'm going to continue reading now. Goodnight!

There Is a Light That Never Goes Out

I wasn't feeling well today, so I stayed home from school. I spent most of my day just listening to The Smiths and drinking tea while trying to study. It was also beautiful weather outside so I decided to walk the dogs in the sunshine, which was lovely. The rest of the day just went by and now here I am. After listening to The Smiths all day I am now thinking of watching the movie (500) days of summer. I like that movie a lot and I love both Zoeey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, so I thought why not watch it.
So I will spend the rest of my evening enjoying a really good movie.
This is a story of boy meets girl...

great minds think alike

Some old photos of me and Ruta :)

I have had a really fun weekend and I don't want it to end. The highlight was that Ruta and I had a sleepover at my place. We met up at like four and bought some snacks and then went to my place. We decided to eat the snacks, even thou it was right before dinner (badasses haha), while watching some Top Model Sweden. Then after dinner it was time to watch Melodifestivalen (Swedish music contest on TV) with my family and my aunt and her husband who wanted to watch it with us. My mother and aunt said so many funny things during the contest about the artists clothes and dancing and other random things. My sister, Ruta and especially I laughed all the time and it was just really fun. After that Ruta and I decided to make some coffee and then search for flight and hotel for our England trip this summer which made us so exited and happy. We haven't booked anything yet, but we will very soon. I can't wait to walk around in London, go shopping in all the amazing shops, drink afternoon tea, maybe have a picnic in Hyde Park and a lot of other wonderful stuff.

We then decided to watch the movie The first time, because I'm having the biggest celebrity crush on Dylan O'brian at the moment. The movie was really cute and I can't get over the fact that Dylan is so perfect, awkward and adorable at the same time. I really recommend the movie to those of you who like cheese movies or Dylan O'brian.

We fell asleep way to late and got like three hours of sleep because we had to get up early the next morning to go to church, but we survived because of the wonderful invention coffee. After church I had to hurry home because some relatives were coming over to celebrate my brother Joel, because he turned 10 last week. we had ice cream with chocolate sauce, which was really yummy. But after that I was so tired because of the lack of sleep the night before, so I was going to take a short power nap who turned into a long power nap.
I woke up and it was almost time for dinner. The rest of the evening went by quickly with some tv-watching and now here I am wide awake even though I should go to bed, that's the downside with power naps in the afternoon. I will watch some Teen Wolf now and I will then try to sleep.
Goodnight!

The Oscars 2014: My favourite outfits

I love to watch the Oscars and one of my favourite things about it is all the amazing fashion you get to see. Everyone is dressed in their absolute best outfits and even though the men look really handsome in their suits I still love to watch all the gorgeous dresses worn by beautiful women. It was hard to pick out a few favourites, but you can see mine above. The beautiful ladies who in my opinion were the best dressed at the Oscars 2014 are: Maria Menounos, Jennifer Lawrence, Sandra Bullock, Amy Adams, Emma Watson and Lupita Nyong'o. I think all of them looked really beautiful <3

Sunday 2 March 2014

the end of a nice week

Flowers in our garden

It's Sunday evening, which means that school starts again tomorrow. This has been a really fun week and a well deserved break from school.

I had a sleepover at Ruta's place this Wednesday, which was really fun. We actually just chilled, ate snacks and watched Tv-series and movies most of the time but it was still very nice. We also started planning our trip to England this Summer, which I'm sooo exited about. It will be so much fun and I can't wait.
We also watched Frozen on Thursday morning after breakfast and it was Ruta's first time watching it so I tried not singing along to every song haha.

On Thursday afternoon my family and I went to our country-house which is like an hours drive from our house. It's really near a lake and it's a really cosy house and we go there a lot in the summer. I had a lovely time just reading, sitting by the fireplace, walking the dogs, looking for signs that spring is on it's way, eating chocolate and just hanging out with my family. It was actually really nice to just chill and don't feel obligated to do anything, even though it was a little bit hard to not  have internet for almost three days.
We stayed there until Saturday evening and then went home because we were going to celebrate my little brothers birthday the day after.

So yeah today was my brother Joel's 10th birthday. He is growing up so fast, but to me he will always be my baby brother. We celebrated him by going to a restaurant and then bowling with our cousins. It was so much fun even though I am a really bad bowler. We then went home and I remembered all the homework I should have done this week, but I then decided to take a nap instead of doing my homework oups and well it's to late now haha.

I am going to bed now and I'm trying to stay positive about tomorrow and so should you guys!
Goodnight!
