Rome

Ciao! I'm back from Italy now. I've had a wonderful time in Rome with my family. The weather was lovely, sunny and warm, the food was delicious and it was just really nice. We had rented a apartment instead of staying at a hotel and that was great. We also walked around in Rome, eating pizza, drinking cappuccino, visiting markets. I had already seen most of the tourist things but we saw some anyway. Rome is just such an interesting city full of historical buildings, churches and cool architecture. We have a subject in school where we learn about the history of culture, art and architecture among other things and we have been reading a lot about the roman empire and about the history of it so I knew a lot about that, which made it more interesting to see everything.

We also went to this big family event with Pope Francis, where thousands of family's come to Peter's square to see the pope. He also celebrated the mass outside and it it was really special. We also saw him really close after when he was standing on this car they were driving around so he everyone could see him more closely. Everyone was cheering and shouting and my family and myself ware really happy.

There is a lot of nice things about Rome but there are also some less good, like the traffic. The traffic in Rome is CRAZY, everyone drives like crazy people so you have to be really careful. Another thing is that everyone smokes and everywhere and I just hate when people smoke near me so that was not very nice, but well well.
Apart from that and the mosquitoes we had a really nice stay in Rome. As usually when I travel I had my camera with so here are some pictures I took.

Rome, here I come!

Long time no see. I'm sorry that I haven't been writing much, I've just been very busy. This week has almost been all about studying. I've had so many tests and homeworks, it almost killed me. Apart from shopping with Vivi this Monday and meeting Elsa for coffee today, all I have been doing this week is studying.

I had a really long school day today, from half past eight to half past five, that never seemed to end. As I said I met Elsa for some coffee after school, but than after that I had to back to school to get some things I had forgot. My friends Eline and Saga and Eline's boyfriend were still in school because they were going to this Halloween concert that the music students at my school were going to have. So I was hanging out with them for a while before I had to go home to pack because tomorrow my family are flying to Rome, Italy.

This is the third or fourth time I visit Italy and I'm really exited because I have checked the weather status for Rome and its actually pretty warm and sunny there yeey. So I'm going to enjoy the sun, the food and beautiful Rome. But I have to get up really early tomorrow to go to the airport. I will probably eat breakfast at Starbucks which makes me really happy. Everyone who knows me knows that I absolutely love Starbucks coffee<3 

Now I have to go to bed and I will see you when I get back from Italy.

I got a lot of inspiration for some photos yesterday so I decided to take some pretty photos and than edit them, so that's what I did. Here are some of my favourites!

I love this photo! I think this photo describes the feeling of autumn. The colours are just really nice and warm and the autumn leaf looks so beautiful. 

This is another edit of the same picture where the focus is on the leaf and its the only thing colourful in this picture. I thought it would me a nice contrast and it turned out really cool.  

This was a really pretty picture and I just changed the light a little bit to make the picture warmer.

This is the same kind of edit as the leaf photo and just think it is a nice effect that gives a cool contrast and makes a pretty photo. This photo also remind me of the movie "Pleasantville".If you have seen the movie you will understand why.

when autumn leaves starts to fall

Yesterday was a really nice day! Woke up a ten and had a nice Saturday breakfast with the family and after that I went on a long walk with my doggies in the wood, I took my camera with me and will post some of the pretty autumn pictures I took later. After the walk I just chilled and watched New Girl until I had to start getting ready for the birthday dinner/sleepover at my dear friend Ruta's place. I ended up being early (and I'm never early haha) so me and Anna went to Ruta. We started eating sweets while waiting for Bea and when she came we went to buy Pizza and more sweets :) We than had a really nice dinner and the pizza was delicious!!



After dinner we it was movie time. The movies we saw was The Box, She is the man and Beastly. The box was a mix between scary and really weird, the end was really sad but the rest was just a big WHAT.
She is the man is such a funny (we laughed sooo much) and feel-good movie that every girl has to watch. Plus that Channing Tatum is in it and he is just so handsooome!!
Beastly was just such a beautiful movie and I yes I cried a lot in the end. The movie was also staring one of mine and Ruta's all time favourite Alex Pettyfer, we both love him so much <3

We ate way to much sweets,chips and cake and between the movies we took a lot of photos of us being the weird persons we are haha we laughed so much ;)

It was just such a funny and lovely sleepover with some of the best people I know and yeah we stayed up kind of late and we kind of had to get up really this morning but it was still worth it :)

when you feel calm and happy

I'm sitting here this cold autumn night. If I open my window I will hear the wind though the trees outside but instead I'm listening to the beautiful voices belonging to artists like Ed Sheeran and Ellie Goulding.

This has been an ordinary week, but one highlight of the week was  meeting Elsa this monday. We went to this really cosy café and just drank coffee and talked for hours. Meeting her reminded me of how much I have missed her, but now when it's autumn we will most likely see each other much more often.

One other highlight of the week was that this Wednesday Vivi and I got massage at this kind of spa. It was my birthday present to her and it was just so relaxing and something both of us was in need of, so that was really nice and I will definitely go and get a massage again soon.

Now I'm going to drink some tea and read before I go to bed, I have a busy weekend in front of me.
