I've actually had a couple of really nice days to start this other half of my school year. Thursday was my first day of school and I was really tired, but I met Elsa after school which was really nice. We went to this cosy cafe and drank coffee and just had some well needed quality time. I had missed her so much!

On Friday after school me and my friend from school, Hanna, went to see Leonardo Dicaprio's new movie the wolf of wall street. Well the movie was... special haha, Leo was really good as always but the movie was actually not that good in my opinion, the movie was also 3 hours long which was almost too long.  

This Saturday I had a chill morning and in the afternoon I went to my friend Johanna's place. I had brought some cupcakes for us, that my sister and I had baked earlier that day, to celebrate her 18 birthday which I missed because I were at the Gran Canaria. We also used her Jacuzzi which was nice because it was really cold outside so to sit in a hot Jacuzzi was sooo nice. 

Her parents made lobster for dinner and it was so delicious. After dinner we watched some TV while eating way
too much sweets and crisps, we also watched Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1. At around 11 I had to
go home, because I had to get up really early on Sunday. Sunday was just a chill day. I went to church and then
went home to drink tea and watch tv-shows.

Today was Monday and it was actually the start of two weeks in school that we call like production weeks, which
means that for two week I will only have dance in school and will choreograph and make our own dance
production and then will have a lot of dance shows to show our work to an audience. I'm so so sooo exited and it
will be so much fun!!

That was all I wanted to tell you and I promise I will update you more about my dance project in school.

back to the the ordinary life again

School starts tomorrow and that means that I will get back to all my early morning, boring homework and all that stuff again. I really don't want go back to school again, but I don't really have a choice. I have had a really nice and well needed break and I'm happy even though I didn't have enough time to do everything I wanted to do.

I wanted to tell you about the sleepover I had with Ruta this Monday, we had so much fun. We meet for coffee at espresso house and than some shopping before going to my place. We had a really nice evening  watching the new episode of Sherlock (OMG, loved it!), then we finally watched The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2013 (we  waited beacuse we wanted to watch it together) and then Magic Mike (Channing Tatum and Alex Pettyfer, hello!!!). We ate way to much sweets and drank way to much coffee haha but that is what we usually do. We didn't go to sleep until like 3 a clock and in the morning my siblings wanted to wake us up by all storming in while playing this kind of trumpet haha, but yeah so we woke up and drank more coffee. My sister also made us her delicious vegan chocolate shake, because she knows I love it. We then just chilled until Ruta had to leave because beacuse she were going to the gym. I studied for a little while and then watched some Ravenswood ( so scary!) and then some How I Met Your Mother. I have had really nice couple of last day before school starting again.

I have to think positivity about school starting again and I just have to appreciate all the small things in my life that makes me happy and don't think about all the bad things that makes me less happy. I hope you all are trying to do the same :)    

the beauty of the ocean

Hola a todos!

I am back from my lovely trip to Gran Canaria. It was so much fun and enjoyed it very much. I have so many photos and things I want to share with you so I will probably write more post about the trip.
As you know I love to take photos, especially of beautiful and pretty things, and if you stay at a hotel with an ocean view and the beach like less than 10 minutes away then there is a lot of thing to take really pretty photos of.

I loved going to the beach. I could  take photos, sit and read, listen to the ocean, and just live in the moment. I also loved jogging along the shore so I actually went out early in the morning four times just to jog, but it was so much more than just jogging. Imagine running along the beach with a soft wind in your face while hearing only the sound of ocean waves and the sound of your feet against the ground. You can see the ocean if you only turn your head, the magnificent ocean and its waves that keep coming back to the shore. You can really smell the salt from the ocean. Imagine that as you're jogging you suddenly notice a dog running beside you. I don't think it had a owner but it was just very calming to know that the dog was there with me even though it was just for a little while. Imagine that you are so busy talking in all the beauty of the ocean that you don't even notice that your legs are aching. That's exactly what my morning jogs were all about and I loved it so much. I also went jogging one time in the evening so I could see the sun going down while I ran along the beach, which was more beautiful then I can describe or show with pictures.
I have decided that some time during my life I have to live close to the ocean, because it is just such a special feeling watching the ocean and I would really like to experience it more often.

Happy New Year Everyone!

I just got home from Gran Canaria and thought I would post something before going to sleep. I really didn't want to leave Gran Canaria, because there was so nice there and I will tell you all about that tomorrow.

The pictures are of the fireworks my family and I saw yesterday. It was so beautiful to watch all the fireworks over Playa de San Agustin, loved it.

I hope all of you had a really fun new years eve too :)
